Venue: New Asia College Ch'ien Mu Library
    Statement:

Throughout these years of professional art practices, I use to psychologically struggle between Realism and Narrative Expression. It is inevitable that if I learn from the experience of Salvador Dali, I definitely do not rely on any visual references because I can simply create works in Surrealism. But in recent years, even though I observe the secular substances to paint, I am seemingly disordered by the illusions to portray the episodes in an impressionistic manner. So, is it an ironic phenomenon that I am also affected by Sigmund Freud’s “daydreaming” theory even dealing with Realism? That’s why...

    About the Book

During times of political turmoil over the past 150 years, literati from Mainland China took refuge in Hong Kong. They would form various shi- and ci- poetry societies to carry on the Chinese poetic tradition. It is a pity that the poetry of most of these societies has not been published before. In order...

To address research questions, researchers can further explore relationships...

    Statement:

“Placid as the peaceful waters of a deep pool, buoyant as an unfastened boat. Find no cause for complacency in life, but cultivate emptiness and drift.” – 《Fu NiaoFu》

Busy makes people feel important. It feels good to be busy, and there is a connection to feeling accomplished or successful and wanting to share that with others. Everyone wants to be heard and appreciated. However, it might also enhance people deep down to confusing and tiring.

    Date: 11 – 22 January 2021
Venue: New Asia College Ch'ien Mu Library
    Statement:

The titles of the double-solo exhibition seem to be a question and answer dialogue. However, the two of them are not actually communicating. One is searching online while one is waiting in place. They are looking for people waiting for him and waiting for people looking for him respectively. Since the situation has not changed, they chose to linger on meaningless conversation. They know what the result of it is, and they just try to convince themselves that it is ambiguity.
