Mr. CHEUNG Chee Wah 張志華

    

Chee Wah CHEUNG received his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Wisconsin University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Illinois University.  He is a co-founder and currently President and CEO of Compass Technology Co., Ltd.  (www.compass-flex.com).  He was named one of the ‘Top Ten Business Makers’ in 1999 by the HKPC.

     

He has over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, having been Executive Director, Corporate VP & GM of QPL International Holdings (listed in HK, annual turnover over US$350 M).

                    

Mr Cheung has served on the RGC, the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee of the Government, the Technology Review Panel for ASTRI, the VTC New Technology Training Scheme (chair), the vetting committee of the Innovation and Technology Fund; he chaired several advisory and study sub-committees in IC Packaging and EPA Roadmap Study at CityU and served on the committee of Microelectronics Packaging and Assembly Roadmap Study commissioned by the Government.

                 

He is a member of Advisory Council of the Engineering Faculty and the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Electronic Engineering (EE) Department at CUHK; he is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the EE Department.  He has also served on similar advisory committees at CityU and HKUST.
