Aims
- To equip the applicants with or enhance their sonography skills in general abdominal and vascular examinations
- To provide a general understanding of the skills and knowledge in other specialized areas such as Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Musculoskeletal System, Heart (Echocardiography) and Small Parts (Thyroid, Salivary Glands, Scrotum and Breasts)
Graduation Attributes
The graduates from MSc programme will be a group of well-rounded sonographers who possess enquiring minds to ask relevant clinical questions pertaining to the sonographic findings or vice versa; have the ability to critically appraise a research article related to clinical ultrasound, have the ability to communicate appropriately with the patients, and effectively with the clinicians on the sonographic findings; have the ability to work effectively in a team for the interests of the patients; and practice clinical ultrasound by observing the local code of ethical conduct.
