In this programme, we try to develop the theory and the practical algorithms for knowledge processing, knowledge learning from other sources, and knowledge distillation.

This programme aims to build AI technologies that can communicate with human speech and language, to form a natural user interface for human-computer interaction across a diversity of users and applications; and to support analysis of the rich information embedded in human spoken language.

This programme aims to overcome such difficulties by drawing on new advances in both medical image analysis and natural language understanding.

In recent years, Smart City has emerged as a major technological trend that aims to integrate intelligent technologies with the natural and built environments to improve a city'a social, economic, and environmental sustainability and quality of life of residents.

This programme aims to explore how AI methodologies on human-level scene understanding, causality inference and personal behavioral analysis can be deployed to specific engineering processes for enhanced performance and expanded capabilities.
