A delegation of the Dragon Programme visited the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science (ISEIS), CUHK in October to learn its latest research achievements, international collaborations and exchange activities. Prof. Lin Hui, (3rd left) director of ISEIS, introduced to the delegations the research projects on remote sensing of ocean, atmosphere and coastal environment conducted by the Institute.
Launched in 2004, the Dragon Programme is a joint effort between the National Remote Sensing Center of China and European Space Agency. It is dedicated to research and application development, technology training, scholar exchange and data sharing in the field of earth observation. ISEIS is selected by the project as the international base for training on oceanic remote sensing.
