The Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages offers an option for local students admitted into the CUHK Linguistics major programme (JUPAS Code 4070) to apply for participating in a dual degree programme (DDP) with the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University.

Background
Peking University has been a CUHK partner for student exchange since 2003 and has collaborated with many CUHK units on student training and research. Its Chinese Language and Literature as well as Linguistics subjects are recognized as double first-class disciplines by the Ministry of Education of PRC China.
