My areas of interest are syntax, semantics, corpus linguistics and natural language processing. My recent research topics include right dislocation, wh-placeholders, mirativity, the negative wh-construction, and synthetic/analytic variation of English comparatives/superlatives.
I am also Research Fellow, T.T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre, Institute of Chinese Studies (CUHK).
Hong Kong is my home town. I speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin. I am a Christian.
