Part-Time Instructors, Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages (Ref. 1516/173(737)/2)
The Department is a young and vibrant Department established in 2004. It now invites applications for part-time Modern Languages instructor positions.
Applicants should have (i) a relevant Bachelor’s degree or above; (ii) experience in teaching courses in one of the following language as a foreign/second language: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Thai; (iii) the ability to use English as a medium of instruction; and preferably (iv) experience in teaching Asian learners at university level.
Appointments will be made on contract basis for individual teaching terms: summer term 2015-16 (two months), the first and/or second term 2016-17 (five months each); renewable subject to performance, funding and mutual agreement.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
