The Shandong Study Tour organized by Department of Social Work was held from 26 to 31 December 2011. Two faculty staff members of the department and 22 students from various postgraduate and undergraduate programmes had visited Shandong University and local social service agencies.

During the tour, CUHK students had the opportunities to share with the students at Shandong University. Through site visits and field practices at local agencies, the students had learnt much on the development of the social work profession and social welfare in Shandong. This was an invaluable chance for students to widen their horizons.
