About The Event

Prof. Poon and participants will watch Screened together, followed by a post-screening discussion at which the film creator will share the experience of documentary production.

Screened was a graduation piece produced by a CUHK undergraduate student. The documentary recorded through an experimental approach the last moment of CU Happy Corner* before its closure.

*CU Happy Corner was established by a research team of the I·CARE Community Research Scheme 2015-16 which implemented an alternative trading system to facilitate the trial of community economy on campus.  CU Happy Corner was closed at the end of 2021 as a result of space resumption at John Fulton Centre.
