Regulation of Peer-to-Peer Lending in China: Lessons and Implications, co-supervised by Professors Robin HUANG and Jyh-An LEE.
Research Interests and Aims
Menglu is interested in financial law, securities regulation, and law and economics. With the thesis, she aims to examine the regulation regime for P2P lending in China, including legal relationships involved in lending business, market entry and exit mechanisms, information disclosure rules and third-party custodian scheme. The research will adopt different methodologies to investigate the challenges and problems regarding the regulatory system in practice, and further propose some suggestions to facilitate its implementation.
