Joint Workshop on Language Across the Curriculum
The Joint Workshop on Language Across the Curriculum was held on 21 January 2022 through online conferencing. It was jointly organized by the Chinese Language Teaching Development Centre of the Department and the English Language Teaching Unit. Colleagues were invited to share their experiences on language across the curriculum, which are beneficial to the future development of Chinese language teaching and learning.

「文學中大」評審講座 - 遊走於評論和創作
從創作到評論,講者鄭政恆回顧十六年來的寫作歷程:自2002年起在詩刊發表作品,進而發表電影評論、文學評論和演藝評論,不同體裁的寫作在2002年的幾個月裡先後起步。講者除了就個人經歷和出版經歷作簡單分享外,也會緊貼當下的電影與文學等文化現象,跟觀眾一起面對和談論當下的社會文化。

「Aesthetic elements for a fine prose: talent, affection and humour
Prose is free in form. It resides next to one’s soul and mind. It is composed by the finest elements of talent, affection and humour that it is able to deliver an inspiring and refreshing aesthetic experience. Focusing on writing elements such as wisdom, talent and humour, this talk will share the secret of creating a moving atmosphere for prose through the sharing of speaker’s experience and the appreciation of classic works.
