From Banking Mogul to Council Chairman
Dr. Vincent Cheng is the first graduate of the Chinese University appointed as the chairman of the University Council. He was also the first Chinese who became the chairman of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. Despite the steamy heat of July, Dr. Cheng came to campus to talk to us, and expatiated on his concepts of management and governance, his youthful years for which he had no regret, and on work and education.
