黃振國教授

黃教授現為香港中文大學化學病理學系教授、中醫中藥研究所所長及藥用植物應用研究國家重點實驗室 (香港中文大學) 副主任。他於 1993 年在香港中文大學生物化學系獲得免疫學博士學位,隨後在美國哈佛醫學院Centre for Biochemical and Biophysical Science and Medicine, Brigham and Women's Hospital (1994-1996年),以及美國哈佛醫學院馬薩諸塞州總醫院Pulmonary and Critical Care Unit (1996-1997) 任博士後研究員。 1997年8月至2000年6月任香港中文大學化學病理學系博士後研究員,2000年7月任科學主任,2001年2月任副教授,2009年8月任教授。

黃教授教授醫學生(包括中醫學生)和醫學院 生物醫學學院的學生和生命科學學院的理學碩士課程。目前,黃教授正在指導六名全日制博士生。他還擔任威爾斯親王醫院診斷臨床化學實驗室的榮譽科學主任(醫學)。

黃教授曾任香港免疫學會及香港流式細胞術學會會長,現任香港免疫學會司庫及英國皇家生物學會(FRSB)院士。

他的免疫學研究包括

(1) 闡明炎症性疾病中的細胞因子和趨化因子網絡以及免疫效應細胞 (包括嗜酸性粒細胞、淋巴細胞、肥大細胞、嗜鹼性粒細胞和樹突狀細胞)的細胞內信號轉導,最近重點研究模式識別受體介導的先天免疫和免疫調節細胞因子,

(2) 和臨床部門合作硏究過敏性疾病、自身免疫性疾病、感染性疾病和糖尿病的免疫病理機制,

(3) 中藥的免疫調節、抗腫瘤和抗過敏活性。上述研究應用高通量免疫分析、流式細胞技術、質譜流式細技術、分子技術、蛋白質組學方法和轉基因鼠模型。
