Background and Objective
The past three conferences were successfully held in Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Macau from 2008 to 2010 respectively, and received a positive response from peers. The 4th Conference will be held in Hong Kong this year. The theme of this year’s conference is to seize opportunity of the construction of High Resolution Earth Observation Systems (the Project). It will discuss the Project’s applications in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) in promoting regional development of remote sensing industries so as to enhance the role of PRD as the demonstration zone of the Project. The conference will also show the demonstration projects and engineering applications, standardization and high resolution data applications in different industry sectors.
