Master of Education in Sports Science and Physical Education

Period of Study
Full-time: 1 year (maximum 3 years)
Part-time: 2 years (maximum 4 years)
Programme Description
Students will be provided with an in-depth understanding of the major areas of sports science and physical education, allowing them either to specialise in specific disciplines or pursue research in this area.

Focused areas of investigation:
  • Curriculum policy, design and implementation
  • Exercise physiology
  • Health and fitness
  • Sports and exercise psychology
  • Sports biomechanics
  • Sports pedagogy
  • Sports sociology
  • Measurement in sports and physical education
Programme Requirements
  • Students are required to complete at least 30 units of courses for graduation
  • *Students must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 in order to fulfil the graduation requirement.
