Charles Wu is currently an investment banking associate at Haitong International Securities, focusing on Hong Kong and U.S. IPOs. Previously, he worked at Prime Number Capital to execute U.S. IPO tasks for Chinese companies. Prior to that, he worked at Ferghana Partners, a New York based investment bank, to provide analysis, structuring, and execution of M&A and private placements in the U.S.

Charles has also worked at the China Banking Regulatory Commission, Harvard Business School, Barclays and ICBC International. He is also the Founder and Chairman of TorchLight Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes U.S. – China relations from academic and educational perspectives. He holds an MPA in International Finance degree from Columbia University, and a BBA in Finance degree from CUHK. He was among the founding cohort of CW Chu College.
