Dr. WONG CK
Dr CK Wong obtained his PhD in Mathematics from UC Berkeley. After a short teaching career at the university, he moved to the private sector as a consultant. While serving as the Principal Architect
in a California government data centre, he received the Distinguished Services Award from the California Government for his contribution to complex system design work.
Dr Wong returned to Mainland China in 1982 and served as a consultant to state-operated organizations. He has held senior positions in international IT companies in the Mainland and HK. He is one of
the founders and a director of the iASPEC Technologies Group, which operates a number of software companies in the US, HK and Mainland China.
He is committed to the development of a strong information industry in the region. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the HK Computer Society. He has served and continues to serve on Advisory Committees
for CUHK, HKUST, HKU, CityU and PolyU. He has served on the University Grants Committee and the Research Grants Council, the Advisory Committee on Technologies for the HK Commissioner of Privacy and Personal
Data, and is a member of the Vetting Committee on ICT projects for the Innovation and Technology Commission.
