Mission

o carry out research into the various aspects of the ageing process, the implication of ageing for the
 Hong Kong population, and the measures to meet the consequences.

o provide training for clinicians and other professionals involved in care of the elderly.

o promote community education which covers health promotion and health maintenance, disease
 knowledge and self-management.
