Concise Course in Infection Control
for Residential Care Homes for the Elderly (Mar 2018)

在香港，入住安老院舍的長者巳越來越多。由於院舍內的員工丶院友及訪客之間常有密切接觸， 年老院友或會受到各種感染。有效的傳染病預防及控制，不但對保障院友的健康尤為重要，更可減少院友因感染而需入住醫院治療的機會。因此，各院友及員工應學習怎樣防止傳染病在院舍內傳播。有見及此，香港中文大學微生物學系將舉辦一個安老院舍的感染控制精讀課程。

In Hong Kong, more and more elderlies are nowadays living in residential care homes for the elderly. Infections among these elderly residents are not uncommon. With intensive interaction among the residents, staff and visitors, there is a potential of transmission of infections within the environment of the elderly homes. In view of this, the Department of Microbiology, Chinese University of Hong Kong is going to host a Concise Course in Infection Control for Residential Care Homes for the Elderly.
