簡介

劉碧珊教授現為香港中文大學中醫中藥研究所副所長，亦為藥用植物應用研究國家重點實驗室(香港中文大學)副主任及香港中文大學中醫學院副教授(禮任)。劉教授曾出任中藥及草藥學理學碩士課程(兼讀制)課程副主任/主任(2005-2015)。劉教授畢業於英國倫敦大學國王學院，主修藥劑學(生藥學)，她從事藥用植物(西方草藥和傳統中草藥)及天然產物研究超過26年。劉教授是現任中國-美國藥典「傳統中藥成份及產品總論」諮詢小組的成員；中藥全球化聯盟執委會署理秘書長及董事會成員；中醫藥規範研究學會執委會候任會長, 秘書長及理事會成員；現代化中醫藥國際協會董事及副理事長；及香港中醫藥管理委員會中成藥註冊制度顧問。她同時亦是國際期刊 “Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine (eJTCM)” 的副主编， “Pharmacological Research” 的諮詢編輯及 “Phytomedicine”, “Scientific Reports”, “Journal of Natural Products”, “Journal of Ethnopharmacology”, “Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology” 和 “Integrative Medicine Research” 的編輯委員會成員。

研究領域/興趣/簡介

( 1 ) 研究草藥及天然產物的抗癌潛力；開發具有抗血管增生的天然產物；檢測天然化合物的抗癌及抗轉移的作用；研究中草藥在癌症治療中的輔助作用。

( 2 ) 研究抗糖尿及促進糖尿爛足傷口癒合的藥用植物。

( 3 ) 研究草藥與藥物的相互作用。
