Weishan Huang is the Assistant Professor of Religion and Society in the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies. Her work mainly focuses on religion and migration, religion and the public sphere, and religion and urbanization.

Siumi Maria Tam is a cultural anthropologist with research interests in cultural identity in social transformation, especially in gender and ethnic relations, transnational mobility and family migration, and change in food culture. She is Director, Multiculturalism in Action Project, a knowledge-transfer project that combines academic research and intercultural education, with a focus on the development of cultural capital to counter the structural minoritization of ethnic groups.
