The RGC launched the Public Policy Research (PPR) Funding Scheme from 2005-06 to 2012-13 with the funding provision from the Central Policy Unit (CPU). The aim of the PPR Funding Scheme is to promote public policy research in higher education institutions. From 2013-14 onwards, the Scheme has been managed by the CPU.
