為了推廣教育研究理念及成果,香港教育研究所十分重視出版活動,以推動本地及海外學術交流。現時,研究所出版印刷的學報有四種,包括:《教育學報》、《基礎教育學報》、《教育研究學報》和《亞洲輔導學報》。
As a vehicle for promulgating research ideas and findings, the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research (HKIER) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) actively nurtures its publication activities with the aim of fostering scholarly exchange in local and overseas communities. Currently, the HKIER publishes four printed journals, including: Educational Journal, Journal of Basic Education, Educational Research Journal, and Asian Journal of Counselling.

- 來稿必須未經發表,請勿一稿兩投。
- 來稿以中、英文書寫均可。中文稿件若屬學術性質的文章,字數以不超過一萬字為限, 其他類別的文章,則不宜多於五千字;英文稿件的字數規限,則分別為七千字及四千字。 如屬學術論文,請附二百字以內的中、英文摘要。作者姓名、通訊地址、所屬機構及職 銜,請另紙列明。文稿錄用與否,概不退還。
- 稿件均以匿名的方式評審。凡經選用的文稿,本刊編委有權酌量修改,或請作者自行修 改。作者於交付最後修訂稿時請附電腦磁碟。文章一經定稿,即交付編印,校對時請勿再作增刪。
- 文責由作者自負,作品的內容觀點,並不代表本所或香港中文大學的立場。
- 來稿的格式及附註,請遵守美國心理學協會出版的《美國心理學協會出版手冊》 (二零零一年,第五版)〔中文文稿格式指引,請按這裏〕。若有附圖,請自行繪妥,以便製版。

Notes for Contributors
- Manuscripts submitted should be original material and have not been submitted elsewhere for publication.
- Manuscripts in Chinese are restricted to 10,000 words for articles, and 5,000 words for non-articles. Manuscripts in English are restricted to 7,000 words for articles, and 4,000 words for non-articles. Abstracts of not more than 200 words, both in English and Chinese, are also required for articles. Name, affiliation, position and corresponding address of author(s) should be listed separately. Submitted manuscripts will not be returned.
- All submissions will be reviewed anonymously. Manuscripts accepted may need revision or amendment either by the editors or the author(s). Please submit the final manuscript on a computer disk. No further amendment or revision is possible once the manuscript is adopted for publication.
- Any writing published in this publication does not represent either the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research or The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
- All manuscripts must conform to the publication guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition, 2001). All figures must be camera-ready, suitable for production. Figures will not normally be redrawn by the publisher.
