This award was established in 2014/15 with the endowment by a former recipient of the Kunkle and Pommerenke scholarship. It is about responsible citizenship, aiming to encourage Chung Chi students to explore contemporary social issues proactively, understand more about Hong Kong, its people and their lives, and do something meaningful and make a difference for our city. Applicants have to submit their proposals and present to an adjudication panel. They have to demonstrate creativity and capability of articulating their thoughts. Based on the adjudication panel’s recommendations, the Creativity Awards Committee will grant the award in three classes each coming with a cash prize ranging from HK$3,000 to HK$10,000.
