Advanced Course da Vinci® Radical Cystectomy
Course Overview
|
The advanced course is designed to cover the important clinical and technical aspects of using da Vinci Surgical System for radical cystectomy. It is intended for those surgeons who completed at least 10 robotic radical prostatectomy procedures and want to advance their robotic techniques/ skills for da Vinci radical cystectomy cases. The course participants will also have the chance to practice robotic total intracorporeal neobladder reconstruction in the lab.

Course Details
|
This two-day advanced course will have didactic sessions, cadaver lab and a live robotic radical cystectomy case observation (by Dr. Eddie Chan). The event will take place in Hong Kong at the CUHK Minimal Invasive Surgical Skill Center. During day 1, course directors, Dr. Chan and Prof. Ng will discuss about the surgical anatomy, technical skills and tips and tricks on robotic radical cystectomy. Day 2 will be dedicated to cadaver lab where each participant will be teamed up with another participant, and will alternate time on a da Vinci Si System. |
