In contemplating bringing new value to participants in connecting to HKIX, HKIX will work with Resellers to provide easier access by offering one-stop-shop service. Reseller Program aims to allow more bandwidth options open to participants (especially oversea participants) at a lower cost, participants could also enjoy the swift provision of end to end service by Resellers. This initiative will definitely bring about new business opportunities and create a win-win-win situation for Resellers, participants and HKIX.
This Reseller Program will be of a non-exclusive arrangement. All IXPs, Data Centres, local and regional ISPs can be our Resellers. The first batch of Resellers should be collocated and nominated by HKIX satellite sites as stated above, while the second batch of Resellers will be extended to other parties connecting to HKIX core sites.
The second batch will be launched in Q4 of 2020, all potential Resellers may connect to HKIX core sites or HKIX satellite sites. The program will be opened up for application on 28 September 2020, please contact us for further information.
