HKIAPS has 11 affiliated research centres and nine research programmes (three independent and six affiliated with the respective centres). The centres and programmes have been actively engaging in research and survey, putting out publications, organizing talks and press conferences, as well as transferring knowledge. The Telephone Survey Research Laboratory, which provides professional services to local researchers and organizations, is one of the major telephone survey units in Hong Kong.
