Study Scheme

A. For students admitted in 2015-16 and thereafter Students are required to complete a minimum of 18 units of courses, with at least 6 units at 3000 or above level, as follows:

1 (a) (i) (ii) (iii)	Required: One course from each of the following study areas[a]: Area (1) Curriculum and Instruction: EDU2120, 4110 Area (2) Educational Administration and Policy: EDU2220, 2240 Area (3) Educational Psychology: EDU2312, 3311	7-9

2 (b)	Elective Courses from: Any 9-11 units from the following: EDUC2120, 2210, 2220, 2240, 2312, 3140, 3200, 3260, 3270, 3280, 3290, 3311, 4110, 4130, 4320, 4330, 4340	9-11

	Total:	18
Note: [a] Courses not taken to fulfill the requirements of 1(a)(i)−(iii) can be used to fulfill the requirement of 1(b).

B. For students admitted in 2014-15 and before (new 4-year normative curriculum) Students are required to complete 18 units from the Educational Studies Courses:
		Units
1 (a) (i) (ii) (iii)	Required: One course from each of the following study areas[a]: Area (1) Curriculum and Instruction: EDU2110, 4110 Area (2) Educational Administration and Policy: EDU2230, 3240 Area (3) Educational Psychology: EDU2310, 3310	6

2 (b)	Elective Courses: Any 12 units from the following: EDUC2110, 2210, 2220, 2230, 2310, 3110, 3140, 3200, 3240, 3260, 3270, 3280, 3290, 3310, 3320, 4110, 4130, 4210, 4310, 4320, 4330, 4340, 4350	12

	Total:	18
Note: -- [a] Courses not taken to fulfill the requirements of 1(a)(i)−(iii) can be used to fulfill the requirement of 1(b) -- EDUC Course Substitution Arrangement (applicable for students admitted in 2014-15 and before)

C. For students admitted in 2012-13 and before (old 3-year normative curriculum) Students are required to complete 16 units from the Educational Studies Courses:
		Units
(i)	Required: At least one course from each study area: One course from each of the following study areas[a]: Area I: Curriculum and Instruction EDU2110, 4110 Area II: Educational Administration and Policy EDU2230, 3240 Area III: Educational Psychology EDU2310, 3310	6

(ii)	Elective Courses: EDUC2110, 2210, 2220, 2230, 2310, 3110, 3140, 3200, 3240, 3260, 3270, 3280, 3290, 3310, 3320, 4110, 4130, 4210, 4310, 4320, 4330, 4340, 4350	10

	Total:	16
