We are excited to announce that our Year 4 student, Cheung Yat Ming, and his team (RiceFort) have been awarded a Silver Medal at the Indonesia Inventors Day 2025 competition.
Their project upcycles rice husks into eco-friendly fiberboards, offering a sustainable solution for waste management. This achievement is a strong external validation of the project’s creativity, utility, and commercial viability.
The team’s success followed their win of the Grand Award and 1st Prize at the 11th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurial Competition, which earned them an invitation to the IID exhibition.
