Faculty mobility scheme strengthens global research collaborations

The Internationalisation Faculty Mobility Scheme is now open for applications.

To advance CUHK’s global engagement strategy and commitment to research excellence, the Office of Academic Links offers a range of schemes designed to help faculty members build and strengthen research partnerships with universities around the world. Among which, the Internationalisation Faculty Mobility Scheme is now open for applications.

The scheme encourages CUHK faculty members to explore and develop international collaborations by facilitating both outbound visits and hosting opportunities. Selected CUHK faculty members travelling abroad will be granted an economy class return air ticket and accommodation support for up to seven nights, while selected visiting academic staff will be provided with a week-long hotel accommodation. Applications will close on 31 October. Interested parties should refer to the webpage for the programme guidelines and application form.

Applications must be submitted by CUHK faculty members. While special considerations will be accorded to applications involving the University’s strategic partners and those which fall within the four strategic research areas, applications related to other research areas and with other renowned research-intensive institutions are also welcome. Ideally, the institutions should be ranked within the top 100 in major global university league tables.
