Established by the College in 2014, this prestigious award each year honors at most THREE College graduating students who have demonstrated all-round performance throughout his/her University study while at the same time obtaining excellent academic performance.
Candidate Requirements
Characters and Considerations:
- Full-time final-year undergraduate students affiliated to Lee Woo Sing College regardless of majors
- Obtain excellent academic performance (attaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.500 up to Term 1 of the final year of studies)
- Have good conduct
- Demonstrate all-round performance in non-academic achievements during their studies in the College/CUHK
Schedule:
- Application period: every April
- Interview period: every May
- Results will be announced via email notification
- All recipients will be invited to conduct interview shooting in September / October to share exprience during University life
- Gold Medal presentation ceremony: to be held during Lee Woo Sing College Graduation Ceremony in November

Casper WONG (2025 / PACCN) fulfilled his wish to have an enjoyable university life at Lee Woo Sing College. From joining the WS Orientation Camp and serving on the student committee, to representing WS in table tennis competitions, Casper made the most of his valuable time and tireless energy as a university student. Through hands-on experiences, he learned how to interact with others, manage his time effectively, balanced academic commitments with career planning, and ultimately achieved a holistic personal growth.

Peony WOO (2025 / NURSN) actively built connections with people from diverse backgrounds throughout her studies at CUHK. By engaging in a wide range of campus activities, she took the initiative to explore experiences beyond her academic discipline which broadened her horizons. During this journey, she continuously adjusted her goals and time management, leading a vibrant U-life while gradually realising her aspiration to contribute to society.

Matthew LO (2025 / BMSCN) experienced a colourful university life, from participating in college activities to build “mentor-and-friend” relationships with teachers and professors. Along the way, he found his own path. Although he once lost his direction, he embraced challenges and kept exploring his dreams. Ultimately, he gained strengthened his aspiration to become a doctor who serves the community.
