• Tutorial classes start on next Wednesday (Sept 10)

• Midterm exam will be held on Oct 17 Fri M2,3.
• Midterm exam covers chapters 1, 2 and 3 (sections 3.1 and 3.2) in Lecture Notes.
• The mean and SD of midterm exam are 43.1 and 24.1 respectively.

• Ex 11 is our last assignments. There will be no assignment for Chapter 5.
• In the last meeting on Nov 28 (F2,3) I will give a review for the final examination. All are welcome especially for those did not do well in the midterm exam.

• I revise each chapter after it is done. These are corrections of typos, rephrasing proofs, and modifications following lectures, etc. However, it does not differ much from the first upload. To save up paper you do not have to print the revised version, just look it up when needed.
