Chinese: ""四人幫"叫嚷懷疑一切, 打倒一切, 干擾和破壞文化大革命 : 打倒"四人幫"畫展
Pinyin: "Si ren bang" jiao rang huai yi yi qie, da dao yi qie, gan rao he po huai wen hua da ge ming : da dao "Si ren bang" hua zhan
English: The Gang of Four harboured suspicions against everybody, overthrow everything, disrupt and undermine the Cultural Revolution! Down with the Gang of Four Exhibition!

Notes: On the lower side of the poster is written: “Ragging out a ‘a handful of people in the military’is a vain attempt to destroy our Great Wall” (倡狂提出“揪軍內一小撮”,妄圖毀我長城)
‘To Seize the handful of people in the military’ was a campaign initiated in 1967 after the Wuhan Incident (July 20, 1967). The campaign targeted powerful military leaders who did not support the ultra-leftist elements of the CCP. On September 5 of the same year, however, Mao Zedong put the campaign to an alt. The “Great Wall” in this sentence is an analogy for the PLA. See Li, Kwok Sing, A Glossary of the Political Terms of the People’s Republic of China.
