The “Future Educational Leaders. Shenzhen & Hong Kong 1+1” Training Programme jointly organised by the Faculty of Education of CUHK and the Institute of Contemporary Education Research of CUHK(SZ) was successfully held at CUHK(SZ) in December 2023. 45 principals and teachers from Wuxi City participated in the programme.

The training programme was conducted by professors from the Faculty of Education of CUHK, including Professor Cheung Chi-keung, Professor Yin Hongbiao, Professor Chen Xinjie, Professor Dai Yun and Professor Zou Xiaoping. The programme covered six areas: Educational Action Research, Evidence-based Decision Making in Schools, Curriculum Changes and Teacher Development, Curriculum Evaluation, Positive Education, and School Leadership. Through the training programme, the participants not only broadened their academic horizons, but also greatly benefited in improving their capabilities in educational research and school leadership.
