CUHK-University of Manchester Research Fund

(For CUHK and UoM faculty)

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The University of Manchester (UoM) share a common vision to expand the frontiers of knowledge and contribute to the betterment of societies. To capitalise on the research strengths of both universities and to create greater impact, a Joint Research Seed Fund was established to build and strengthen research collaboration between the two universities.

Joint Research Seed Fund

The Joint Research Seed Fund has been tailored to catalyze new collaborations and in the longer term to build global teams with the capability to secure external funding to continue their research. We encourage the involvement of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) either as the principal investigators (PIs) or as members of the project team.

The fund is open to applications from all research areas. Up to five projects will be supported in this call with a maximum award of £16,000 per project.

For more information on the Joint Research Seed Fund, please visit here.
