Dear students, It’s great to see all of you at LWS College. While I was teaching the GE course, I realized that many of you might be curious about my background. You may be surprised to learn why I chose to pursue a career in education, especially as someone with a bachelor’s degree in creative
Dear students, Nice to chat with you here. I’m excited to share two stories with you! Be authentic in your life and work. I often share stories about how students frequently ask me how to position themselves and find a clear career path. For the first question, consider asking yourself who you are and

Dear students, Kung Hay Fat Choi!! Are you thinking of adjusting to university life starting in the Year of Snake 2025? If not, try to make a ‘mission possible’, which lets you have a goal to achieve. In our Chinese culture, we all say to ‘set a plan in the spring’ at the beginning of
Forget what is behind, strive for what is ahead, and run straight towards the goal In the blink of an eye, another semester has passed. Are you satisfied with your academic performance? Regardless of whether you are
Revisit the classics, nourish your life Have you ever tried to spend time reading classics? In the age of AI, the information we encounter is often secondhand or thirdhand, and the original sources become increasingly blurred, sometimes even unverifiable. During the Christmas season, I saw a book in a bookstore
Dear students, As Term 1 draws to a close, you must be busy preparing for exams and completing assignments. While I considered sharing study and writing tips in this message with you, I realize you’ve likely heard them many times before (e.g., avoid distractions, use mind maps, teach others, sleep and eat well). In addition,
Dear students, When I was a university student, I believed that studying hard and achieving good grades on exams were the top priorities. However, as I matured, I realized that leadership, communication skills, and vision are more crucial to success. In today’s world, where we have easy access to information, the way we learn has
Dear students, This may sound familiar to you: You have arrived at university, and you discover that it is completely different to secondary school, with so much freedom and too many distractions. It is very easy to lose focus and let time pass by without really achieving much. I would ask you to take a
