F O P 7
28 February (Saturday) – 4 March 2026 (Wednesday)
The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, Hong Kong SAR, China
Welcome
The FOP conference series were initiated by Prof. Hongxing Xu in 2009 during the Workshop on Nanophotonics, organized by the International Center for Quantum Structures (ICQS) at Taiyuan. The Workshop on Nanophotonics is regarded as the kickoff meeting for FOP and recognized as FOP0. FOP1 to FOP6 were thereafter held successfully at Xi’an (2010), Chengdu (2012), Xiamen (2014), Hefei (2016), Nanjing (2018), and Kunming (2024). The FOP conferences aim to gather together global leading experts and scholars in the field of nanophotonics and plasmonics to discuss cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs, technological advancements, and challenges in the field.
FOP7 will be organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and held on its campus. Following the tradition of the FOP series, FOP7 will provide a platform for global leading experts and scholars to discuss and exchange cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs, technological advancements, and challenges in the fast-expanding nanophotonics and plasmonics fields. FOP7 will cover a wide range of research topics related to nanophotonics and plasmonics, including but not limited to, surface- and tip-enhanced spectroscopy, optical and photonic devices, integrated photonic circuits, nanoscale optical and photonic devices, metamaterials and metasurfaces, chiral plasmonics, topological photonics, quantum photonics, optical sensing and imaging, near-field optics, light-matter interaction, and emerging concepts in nanophotonics. Up to now, more than 35 authoritative experts around the world have confirmed that they will present their inspiring research discoveries and achievements on FOP7. Meanwhile, contributed talks and poster presentations will also be arranged to enhance discussion and promote academic brainstorming and collaboration exploration.
We would sincerely welcome all researchers and scholars over the world, especially young researchers, postdoctoral researchers, and research postgraduate students, who work in the fields of nanophotonics and plasmonics, join this exciting conference.
