Participant are expected to have basic understanding of computer programming. Knowledge in Python is beneficial, but not essential.
Course Description
This course will help participants to use Python to perform automated quantitative finance and trading. Topics include:1) Python basics; 2) Data management with Python; 3) Database Integration; 4) Web scraping with Beautifulsoup and Selenium; 5) Automatic performance monitoring; 6) Backtesting techniques; 7) Introduction to Machine Learning techniques for forecasting.
