Introduction
With the impetus of the University, Lee Woo Sing College is the first College to implement comprehensive service learning component in College General Education Programmes.
Since 2022-23 academic year, the College has integrated service learning into both required and elective courses to promote holistic education and nurture humanistic leaders for society. By putting theories into practice, the programmes aims to allow WS students to organize and carry out direct service projects, understanding social conditions and the needs of various parties. By raising students’ sense of citizenship and social responsibility, the College aspires to develop students’ sustained interest in community involvement and contributions, showing love and care to society.
To encourage students’ active contribution to the community, students can continue and extend their projects with support from various College resources (such as DARE scheme) .
