When people talk about social innovation, they often associated with social entrepreneurs or social enterprises, but in fact we can be a changemaker ourselves.
“Everyone can be a Changemaker!”
Plastic Free Change Makers Training Workshop was successfully hold on 25-26 February, 2023. The change maker workshop aims at training students to become change makers with innovative thinking to advocate plastic reduction in the campus and communities.
We have invited guest speaker from Wildbound （野聲）, Green Earth（綠惜地球） and Greenpeace（綠色和平）. They introduced the problems of plastic pollution to the students, with local and international trends,and development in different innovative solutions from NGOs.
With the use of facilitation skills and tools, students were equipped with design thinking skills , such as Impact Gap Canvas. Students are able to develop trial solution to kickstart the future practicum – holding change makers workshop in secondary schools.
