CUHK Data Hack 2025

CUHK Library and Data Science and Policy Studies Programme (DSPS), Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR), Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPIN) Minor Programme is organizing the CUHK Data Hack 2025 with a series of pre-hackathon workshops in enhancing digital and data skills. Welcome CUHK students and staff to join in teams or as individuals to work collaboratively with inter-disciplinary teammates to showcase their digital skills by innovative solutions within 48 hours.

 

Theme: Data Solutions for Social Good (with reference to SDGs 3, 9, 11 & 13)
Date: 28 February – 2 March 2025 (Fri-Sun)
Venue: University Library

 

Aims:

  • Promoting innovation skills, including data and digital competency to CUHK students and staff
  • Enhancing multi-disciplinary and multi-dimensional collaboration among CUHK students and staff

Team Prizes:

  • Champion: HKD6,000 of e-voucher
  • 1st Runner up: HKD4,000 of e-voucher
  • 2nd Runner up: HKD3,000 of e-voucher
