Get ready for an exciting summer at CUHK
The CUHK International Summer School (ISS) offers an unforgettable and enriching opportunity to enhance students’ academic journeys while immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of Hong Kong and the rich history of China. Two academically invigorating programmes bring together over 600 local and international students each summer, allowing them to learn alongside world-class peers, forge lifelong networks, and experience Hong Kong’s dynamic culture through a variety of activities and excursions.
This year, the 5-week ISS July session offered a diverse range of courses across five academic streams taught by leading academics from CUHK and overseas universities. Students can enroll in up to two academic courses (3 credits each) and earn up to six CUHK credits, adding a valuable milestone to their university careers. Following the July session, the ISS August session offered intensive Putonghua language training at various levels to allow students to acquire practical language skills. Students can enroll in two courses and earn up to six credits upon completion of the programme. Both sessions included a full array of cultural activities and excursions, ranging from city tours to traditional arts and crafts workshops to hikes on heritage trails.
The Office of Academic Links is committed to promoting internationalisation at home and a vibrant campus community for students to learn, grow, and create lifelong memories. For more information on ISS, please visit our website.
