Local internship programme is available to Year 2 and Year 3 Chemistry major students. This programme is established to:
- Enhance students’ understanding of the careers they are interested in;
- Equip students with the essential skills for future careers;
- Provide opportunities for students to practice in the real-world environments and providing a platform of connection between recruiters and students.
Financial Support
The internship provider may provide subsidy to students.
Application Timeline
| 6 February 2025 | Briefing and sharing (details will be sent to students by email) |
| 27 February 2025 | Deadline of application form submission |
| March – April 2025 | Interview by the internship provider |
| April 2025 | Successful applications will be informed |
| May – August 2025 | A minimum of 8 weeks of work |
Student Obligation
| 1. | Students should give a brief presentation after the internship |
| 2. | Students should submit a written report which summarizes the summer work |
| 3. | Per requested by the Department, students will be asked to promote future exchange programme |
