Introduction

Since its invention by Steven R. White in 1992, the Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) and its generalizations in the form of Tensor Network States have made significant contributions to various areas of physics, including condensed matter physics, statistical physics, quantum chemistry, nuclear physics, and machine learning.

The Tensor Network States: Algorithms and Applications (TNSAA) workshops have been established to showcase the recent advancements in algorithms and their applications in uncovering new physics. Continuing this tradition, we are pleased to organize this series and invite experts in the field of Tensor Network States to share their latest developments and provide insights into future directions. Additionally, we aim to foster interdisciplinary collaborations by inviting experts from other fields such as Quantum Monte Carlo, Machine Learning, and Quantum Simulation, with the hope of generating novel ideas through cross-disciplinary communication.
