It is our pleasure to extend an invitation for your participation in the 5th BCM-CUHK-UM Joint Symposium in Clinical Genetics, taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This collaborative event is organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Department of Paediatrics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Department of Paediatrics at the University of Malaya. 

Key advancements in the 21st century, including artificial intelligence, robotics, and space technologies, are often rooted in engineering. In the realm of life sciences, Genetics and Genomics emerge as pivotal technologies that will significantly influence human life for the next eighty years and beyond. The two-day symposium boasts distinguished keynote speakers specializing in paediatric, maternal fetal medicine, and prenatal and reproductive health genetics. The comprehensive scientific programme is designed to offer clinical updates and explore innovations in the field of Medical Genetics. We are confident that this event will facilitate a fruitful exchange of ideas, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing on the paramount subject of Genetics and Genomics, fundamental to our shared humanity.
