Coding Theory and Cryptography
Course Description:
(Not for MIE students who have taken IEG4200.)
Coding theory: information theory, linear codes, cyclic codes and geometric codes. Cryptography: classical cryptosystems and public key cryptosystems. Students taking this course are expected to have some knowledge in algebra and number theory.
