Research Interests

My research is within clinical psychology with a major focus on the emergence, prevention and treatment of eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. My studies extend to prevention of obesity, and treatment of body dissatisfaction, including translational and transdiagnostic approaches. Another line of research has been the early detection, prevention and treatment of conduct disorders in children, mainly through parent training. This work has recently been extended to prevention of anxiety disorders in children.
