The Department is pleased to announce that our Year 4 Undergraduate, Ms. Yeung Ka Shuen, has been chosen as the recipient of the Outstanding Service Awards in 2023/24.
The purpose of this award is to acknowledge and recognize undergraduates with outstanding service records in the Department. Thanks to all of your nomination and endeavour throughout the voting process, we finally come up to have Ka Shuen as the awardee of the Outstanding Services Awards this year. It is a prestigious honour that serves to recognise the best of the best within our ranks; each awardee will receive a $1,000 prize.
What’s more, we are happy to have Ka Shuen to share with us her wholehearted feelings of receiving this achievement 🙂

It is an honor to receive this award. Contributing to service not only assists in facilitating numerous Chemistry department events, but also brings me a lot of satisfaction and happiness. As a helper in lab tours, STEM courses, information day, and various other activities within our department, I take great joy in providing my assistance. Seeing every participant enjoy exploring CUHK, particularly knowing more about our department, and learning more from the visits, fills me with satisfaction. I believe that we play a crucial role in shaping participants’ first impressions of our department, so it is my pleasure to offer any assistance and support. Hopefully, my service could make a positive impact within our department and foster memorable experiences for all involved.
