Biography

Dr. Cathy CHUNG graduated from the medical school in The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  She became Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2006, Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) (FHKAM (O&G)) and Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FHKCOG) in 2008.  In addition, Dr. CHUNG acquired her diplomas in Advances in Medicine (CUHK) and PGDipClinDerm (QMUL) in 2009. She is currently appointed as Associate Professor of Practice in Reproductive Medicine at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. CHUNG had undergone further subspecialist training in reproductive medicine at the Assisted Conception Unit, Guy’s Hospital, London in 2015-2016. Her work mainly focus on clinical aspect by helping patients with various infertility problems, polycystic ovarian syndrome, repeated implantation failure, recurrent miscarriage and those requiring fertility surgery and assisted reproductive technology (ART). Dr. Cathy CHUNG also has special interest in Gametes donation programme by using donor egg or sperm in ART procedures.
